Requirements:

•     Min. 2 years experience on similar position 
•     Strong proven knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); knowledge of US GAAP will be an asset
•     Strong accounting, taxation and financial reporting knowledge 
•     German Tax law understanding as an asset
•     Fluent German 
•     Fluent English
•     Experience in data analytics (very good Excel knowledge)
•     Attention to detail
•     Excellent communication skills
•     Team player

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the provision of accurate and compliant financial and tax reporting services to the company and external auditors on behalf of the company’s legal entities in the region
• Preparing annual set of financial statements and applicable notes in accordance with HGB (including Balance Sheet, income statement, equity statement, cash flow statement and notes)
• Conducting ongoing statutory accounting reviews and booking of adjustments needed to comply with local and tax laws
• Keeping the Local GAAP Assets Accounts Database revised and up to date
• Resolving issues between Finance and the partners
• Liaise with German tax authorities
• Reconciliation of tax accounts
• Cooperation with the auditors, preparation of PBC list, providing the analysis of the balances and entity’s processes
• Cooperation with external Statutory&Taxation advisors in order to complete the annual financials and CIT return
