Financial Accounting & Reporting Senior Specialist Ref. No: 7285

For our client, Shared Service Center with a stable position on a Cracow’s market, we are looking for a leader of accounting team. 

Region: Kraków, małopolskie

You are a good Candidate if:

  • You have bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification will be considered an asset
  • You have minimum 3 years of experience in Finance with experience in controlling/reporting
  • You have an excellent written and verbal English
  • You have an ability to independently engage complex Business Control issues and resolve them in an international environment
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to quickly form working relationships
  • You are able to effectively manage the relationship with Senior stakeholders
  • You have excellent analytical skills
  • You are proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues
  • You are used to work under stringent deadlines, keeping in mind quality, accuracy and time
  • You have a drive for continuous professional development in self
  • You have excellent Microsoft Office package working skills
  • You have experience with a reporting tool such as BeX Analyzer, Business Object, etc. is a plus

 

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Performing financial reporting in accordance with IFRS
  • Ensuring, chasing and validating all reporting and consolidation information that Operating Companies and Regions deliver and ensuring data quality/accuracy conform HEINEKEN policies and procedures
  • Working in partnership with the Regions, Group and other stakeholders (IA, GBS controlling) to achieve high standard management accounting processes
  • Developing and maintaining successful working relationships with local, Group, Regional Management, other teams and key stakeholders
  • Keeping up with relevant developments in IFRS and exchanging information with Operating Companies, Region and liaising with GC&A where relevant
  • Providing own processing expertise to other members of Krakow team
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements following provided guidance
  • Supporting internal/external audits by preparing information as and when requested
  • Executing assigned process controls and proactively report any instances of non-compliance
