Our Client is a leader in an investment sector in German speaking countries. As the largest independent investment company in this area it hires over 700 employees. Due to the opening a new centre in Cracow, the company is looking for an Investment Controlling Specialist.

What do you need to have?

  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related subject
  • Experience in a similar position (investment compliance/ regulatory reporting/ investment guideline)
  • Excellent knowledge of European investment regulations (i.e. Germany, Luxemburg, Austria) and understanding of enabling technology typically used within a financial services organization
  • Fluent in English
  • Very good German language skills (min. B2)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate
  • Ability to deliver flawless work even under high load and time pressure

What will you be responsible for?

The Investment Controlling Specialist will be in charge of the negotiation and review of fund contracts with a focus on investment limits, and of the system maintenance of the investment restrictions.

 

Additionally, he/she will be responsible for:

  • ongoing optimization and maintenance of the limit checking system
  • maintaining contact with asset managers, portfolio managers and custodians
  • acting as contact person for all issues relating to fund-specific investment restrictions at all levels of internal and external communication
  • quality assurance of ongoing processes
