LGBS operates as an international organization with a worldwide delivery structure providing business services in the areas of Finance, HR, Revenue Accounting, Management Reporting and Procurement for entire Lufthansa Group.

Krakow Center is the main hub for the delivery organization including also central functions for the group companies covering both standard as well as customized processes for airline business. Besides operations, Krakow Center has also teams specialized in Process Management, Migration Support, Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement.

As Marketing services have always been a crucial component for the success of any company and in special for an airline group. In order to ensure and extend the supply for all types of Marketing services, we are extending our central Marketing procurement organization today located at Frankfurt, Vienna and Zurich to Krakow.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute typical procurement/sourcing processes for Lufthansa Group companies
• Timely and accurately process Source-2-Contract (S2C) activities in accordance to internal guidelines
• Support internal clients in performing demand analysis
• Gather and challenge specifications to ensure a sufficient documentation of requirements for tendering
• Define procurement requirements, identify potential suppliers for tendering and manage RFx
• Prepare (commercial aspects, risk evaluation, contractual parameters) and agree evaluation matrix for a consisting scoring approach
• Perform business negotiations with external vendors
• Analyze and compare competing proposals, prepare vendor selection decisions
• Redline and finalize contracts (English/German) in cooperation with legal department

Requirements:

• University degree
• Min. 3 year of relevant experience in Marketing Procurement
• Fluent English and German in speech and writing
• Working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Willingness to travel abroad
