Our client is a leading international unit for certification of safety and quality for products, services and management system. Due to the opening of new Shared Service Center in Katowice we are looking for candidates with financial background.

Your qualifications:

• University degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar)
• At least 1-3 years of previous experience in a relevant accounting area, preferably in an international environment
• Good command of German and English  (min. B1)
• Knowledge of ERP system, SAP will be an asset
• Very good communication skills and ability to work in the team
• Willingness to travel during the transition phase

Your tasks:

• Performs various operational activities within an AP/AR area
• Ensures proper matching of invoices with the payments
• Matches incoming payments against open items, investigate any differences
• Responsible for the preparation of specifications/reconciliations and documentation of the submitted financial data
• Prepares parts of the monthly reconciliation
• Reports periodically or upon request KPI’s measurements
• Possible participation in a process migration
• Prepares process documentation: desktop procedures and process maps
• Participation in continuous process improvement
• Communication with internal and external SSC customer in an effective and efficient manner
