Global Transformation and Service Delivery Lead (RTR) Ref. No: 7169

On behalf of our Client, international Finance SSC company located in Kraków, we are looking for experienced and motivated individual for the position of: Global Transformation and Service Delivery Lead (RTR).

Requirements:

  • University Graduate - Education in Accounting, Finance or Economy  and working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles 
  • Min. 7 years’ experience in RTR processes in a multinational environment
  • Strong Knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling functionality
  • Experience in leading large RTR teams (30+ team members ) in a BPO/SSC environment
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to interface and work with individuals across the global organization at all levels (including external counterparties)
  • MBA/ACCA or strong post-graduate level studies
  • Strong relationship and business partnering skills
  • Very good organization and delegation skills
  • Proactivity and ability to take initiative, decision making
  • Very good command of English language 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure policies and defined processes are followed on a globally consistent basis. Identify any gaps/exceptions and suggest and implement standardizations/improvements as agreed with RTR Global Process Lead. 
  • Assure effective operations Globally through monitoring execution of key process deliverables. Plan and organize effective team operations - including staffing, cross-training, critical process backups, EWS, recognitions and team developments across all GBS sites.
  • Co-operate with Global Operational Excellence function in determining and continual review of operational metrics, SLA’s and reverse SLA’s (responsibility, definition and calculation)
  • Maintains Point of Contact (POC) matrix monthly and work with Operational Excellence teams in establishing routine stakeholder engagements as well as establishing escalation matrix.  
  • Management of Team Leaders and analysts within GBS, delivering services to Cliet's sites Globally. Responsibilities cover all in-scope RTR processes and include: Bank Integration and Clearing, Intercompany Loan accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Month-End close process, Reconciliations, ERP to HFM submissions and reporting, Site, Employee, and SSC personnel queries.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with Accounting Policies: Local and US GAAP requirements.
  • Maintain strong Internal Controls and compliance with SOX requirements for the end to end RTR processes
  • Provide timely responses to Auditors as they complete various audit procedures, including but not limited to:  SOX, US GAAP, and statutory audits.  Work with Global Process Lead and Operational Excellence Lead to define Management Action Plans when deficiencies are noted
  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.  Leading, motivating and solving daily problems by mentoring
  • Plan and organize effective team operations; Ensure adequate staffing and backup support model in place to meet business needs and limit support interruption due to attrition
  • Ensure backup support model is in place including cross training to ensure no support interruptions due to attrition, with priority on critical processes
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) and current and reviewed annually as a minimum.
  • Work with BPO partner to resolve process questions, provide support for process improvement initiatives, recommend process change to improve efficiency including policy updates, automation initiatives etc. in cooperation with GPL and Operation Excellence Lead
  • Review results of site survey with focus on trends and areas of opportunity for improvement
  • Interface with Budget Team and manage cost per Budget
